Wilderness Volunteers has been providing affordable and meaningful volunteer service opportunities that conserve and protect America’s wild lands since 1997. Working in cooperation with the US Forest Service, National Park Service, the BLM, the US Fish & Wildlife Service and others, you’ll be inspired and invigorated when you see how much a group can accomplish in a few days.

Location: Southern UT
Strenuous. 6-10 mi daily w/ 500’ change
Front country: tent camping in a designated remote campground
Join us for a week of trail maintenance with access to countless canyons & fantastically formed buttes.
Location: Southern AZ
Strenuous. Up to 2-mile one-way hikes carrying/lifting fencing materials
Front country: tent/car camping (TBD on designated or dispersed)
This project has a little bit of everything: building/maintaining rock/brush structures, invasive plant removal, & a day of fence removal, all helping to improve habitat for the endangered masked bobwhite quail.
